Cannabis Awareness to Live Mindfully
The C.A.L.M. Club invites you to participate in a mindful lifestyle with other people who desire a conscious awareness of our lifestyle choices and how these choices can profoundly affect our health. The CBD found in the hemp plant can be an appropriate solution to mitigate the circumstances and raise awareness of the many benefits of the cannabis plant that are essential for our optimum physical, mental an emotional health.
Our cannabis research welcomes you to explore with us the many benefits of the cannabis plant and its importance in a healthy lifestyle. Our endocannabinoid system, found in all mammals, is as important as our nervous system, circulation and skeletal systems integrating all of these systems for optimum health.
Our national health is in a crisis with our senior population and veterans facing insurmountable obstacles to maintain health and prevent further demise. We can mitigate the circumstances by raising the awareness of the cannabis plant and its integral part in our health, emotional, mental and physical.
Many people are independent, alone. Our society needs to continue to create safe places to gather, enjoy each other’s company without fear of judgment. The Calm Club gathers to just sit and talk about anything.
Gatherings will include going to dispensaries, public social activities, and events. Suggestions are always welcome and volunteers and met with CHEERS.
Kannaway®, America's First Premiere CBD company, has a worldwide following by offering some of the highest quality hemp and CBD oil products.
Getting to Know Your Endocannabinoid System
It is one of the new and outstanding discoveries in science. The ECS, endocannabinoid system, regulates a variety of biological processes, such as relaxation, feeding, sleep, certain inflammatory reactions and even cognitive function. In short, your ECS is responsible for the optimal function of your body - it's no small task!
Endocannabinoids and their receptors are found throughout the body. However, while the Endocannabinoid System performs its tasks, experts believe that the function of the ECS is the regulation of homeostasis. It is difficult to define a system as complex as the ECS, but it is important to know that there are two types of important receptors - CB1 and CB2 - in the cells of the body. They are abundant in the brain and immune system. The body produces cannabinoids in a natural process (such as endocannabinoids: anandamide and 2-AG) that share chemical structures similar to cannabinoids derived from plants like CBD.
